
2008 - 2010 Power Stroke 6.4L Switch Installation Guide
Tools needed for installation
- Flashlight
- Flathead Screwdriver
- Snips
- 5 FT of wire to fish the switch wires through the fire wall
- Zip Ties
- Electrical Tape
- 8mm 1/4 Socket
- 1/16 Drill Bit
- Unibit #1 or 3/8 Drill Bit
- 1/8 Drill Bit
Installing the Switch
• Locate the 6.4 air intake system (Pictured Below)• Remove air intake using the 8mm socket, set aside.

• Locate the appropriate sensor (pictured below) the two-wire IAT sensor located below where the intake was, along the passenger side intake runner near the MAP sensor.

• Unplug the sensor and cut back approximately 1.5” of the protective wire sheathing. (if needed)
• Tap the SOTF switch into the Purple and Turquoise/White wires (polarity does not matter).
• Leave the sensor UNPLUGGED from the factory location. Tape the end of the plug if desired.
• Ensure that a proper SOTF profile/calibration is installed. If a SOTF profile/calibration is installed without a switch, the ECM will default to position 1 (lowest power).
• Position 1. 1000RPM High Idle ( DO NOT DRIVE IN POS 1!!)
• Position 2. Stock/Lowest Power Setting.
• Position 3. Tow Setting ( Depending On Tune)
• Position 4. Street Setting ( Depending On Tune)
• Position 5. Highest Power/Race Setting.
