5R110 Swap Trans Notes
we talk for ease 1 2 3 4 5 shifts, even though the trans goes 1 2 3 5 6 and 1 2 3 4 6 cold strategy
"OD" is the 4-5 shift.
Things about logging, I cannot tell or see
- when you're in TH (tow-haul)
- a shift is too firm
- a bind is hard to see (engine rpm fights through a shift)
- what tune you are running
- TDN does not email me when you log, please email me with feedback.
when logging a 5R110, fluid temp 150-160F min and 50-60 miles before any logging is done.
HPT & TDN GUIDE

If you’re having trouble getting the resource files to update, have the customer download VCM suite Beta on a laptop, once that’s done connect the RTD to the laptop that’s connected to the internet. Then have them do the following (using vcm scanner). Select vehicle/MPVI2 data logging then another window will populate and select Resync interface resources.
